Configuring RADIUS

This article describes how to configure a ProSBC system to capture CDRs, using a RADIUS server. RADIUS requests are sent from the ProSBC configured IP Interfaces or from the management port.

1- Select RADIUS from the navigation panel.

2- You can modify the following parameters:

  • Timezone

  • Time format

  • Source IP interface

Advanced Parameters:

  • Maximum accounting concurrent records

  • Maximum accounting queued records

  • Maximum authorization concurrent requests

  • Maximum authorization queued requests

  • Additional dictionary

  • Click Create.

3- Verify that the RADIUS client configuration successfully created message is displayed.

Note that CDRs must be configured to use RADIUS. To confirm this, select Gateway from the navigation panel. Then, ensure that the "Use CDR behavior" checkbox is checked, and that one of the RADIUS options in the "CDR Mode" dropdown menu is selected.

Configured RADIUS servers will appear on the Status page in the navigation panel, under the RADIUS tab.
