This document provides instructions on configuring 3CX Phone Provisioning to interoperate with the ProSBC. Phone provisioning is used for automatic configurations of selected hardware SIP phones. Phone provisioning means:
phone automatically connects to the PBX after booting and is assigned a phone extension,
extensions are managed in the administration interface,
if you confirm or plan it, the system will perform an automatic restart of provisioned phones if needed,
phone firmware is automatically updated,
displaying a company logo on hardware phones supported by 3CX Server
accessing company contacts

1 - After creating an extension in the 3CX server Click on the Phone Provisioning tab and click on to Add button
2 - Select your supported phone type and enter your phone MAC address.
3 - Select Provisioning Method as 3CX SBC (remote)
4 - Enter ProSBC IP address in 3CX Session Border Controller section
5 - Click OK to save
3CX removed to entering the external IP address for 3CX Session Border Controller in the provisioning settings with release 18. In this case, you could not enter the ProSBC IP address in the provisioning settings as described above. Please follow the instructions to configure provisioning from the ProSBC:
1 - Go to Settings -> Advanced -> Network -> FQDN -> Settings for Direct SIP Calls, Click to Allow calls from/to external SIP URIs and enter the domain name you entered in the ProSBC SIP Domain configuration.
2 - After creating an extension in the 3CX server Click on the Phone Provisioning tab and click on to Add button
3 - Select your supported phone type and enter your phone MAC address.
4 - On the IP Phone settings select Local Lan (in the office) for Provisioning MEthod and select the FQDN in the Select Interface. After click to the OK you will see the provisioning link created with the FQDN you entered.
